Bungee Jumping

Singshore Bridge is India's newest and most jaw-dropping bungee jumping spot, and it does not hold back. Stretching 240 metres across and rising over 100 metres above a deep Himalayan gorge in West Sikkim, this is the highest bungee jumping point in India, surpassing even Uttarkashi, and what makes it truly unlike anywhere else is that you jump directly off a bridge, not a cantilever platform.

Singshore Bridge sits in West Sikkim, about 26 km from Pelling and 5 km from Uttarey village. The nearest airport is Bagdogra (IXB), around 150 km away, and the journey by road takes roughly 6 to 7 hours.

New Jalpaiguri (NJP) is the closest major railhead, about 140 km out, with a 6-hour drive via NH10. From Gangtok, it is around 130 km and 5 to 6 hours by car. From Pelling, hire a local taxi or shared jeep to the bridge, which takes about an hour.

The bungee jumping facility is open all year outside the monsoon window, so you have a solid October to May season to plan around. Budget extra time for the winding mountain roads, keep a buffer day in your itinerary, and if you are coming from Darjeeling, the bridge makes a perfect pit stop on the way to Pelling.
