Goa Bungee
About
Goa Bungee is India's only bungy-over-a-lake — a 55 m jump from a cantilevered platform straight over the calm green water of Mayem Lake in North Goa. Run by the same team behind the Rishikesh site, it trades Himalayan gorges for a tropical setting of palms and low Western Ghats forest, with the lake itself as the splash zone.
What makes it special:
- A 55 m jump over Mayem Lake — the only lake bungee in the country, with 360° water-and-forest views
- A tropical, beachy-Goa energy in the queue that's a world away from the mountain sites
- An easy add-on to a Goa trip, paired with kayaking and stand-up paddleboarding on the same lake
It's lower than Rishikesh but no less of a rush — and the setting makes it one of the most photogenic jumps in India.
Getting There
The site sits at Mayem Lake in North Goa, about a 35–45 minute drive from the Baga–Calangute beach belt, within the Goa Tourism (GTDC) complex. Goa's airports and railway stations are all within an easy taxi ride, and most visitors fold the jump into a wider Goa itinerary.
The best window is November to March — dry, clear and comfortable; avoid June–September, when heavy monsoon forces frequent closures. Weekends and the December–January peak get busy, so booking ahead trims the queue. Wear closed shoes and leave valuables in the lockers.
